Education is the key to yourself and the world. Education is not for the young ones to prepare themself to adulthood, but a continuous process that helps us grow, be more in touch with ourselves and the world.

As a multigenerational intentional community we will have kids of different ages. As a multicultural intentional community there will be many languages spoken. As a spiritual intentional community there will be many faiths.

Education will revolve around the educational center (educational space and library), but also around the places where all of us will work. These days you can hear a lot of words about alternative schooling styles but the true objective is not schooling, it is education so will do „community education”.

Community education starts from the concept of „multiple intelligences” that will be shaped and guided with the help of all the knowledge of the entire community. All of us will teach the kids the things that we are passionate about, either in the educational center, in workshops or in the field where we work. Maybe we will follow a curriculum, but for sure we will follow the child. We will try to discover what makes them tick, but also what is their prefered way of learning. Our task is not to provide the truth, but give them the love of learning and the tools for critical thinking.

But then we will like to improve ourselves, and the kids when they grow older, and for this will either invite people that we can learn from, or will participate in workshops, courses outside the community, and academic study. Accepting volunteers is very important since we can learn and share experiences with people of many origins.

Monthly we will choose one culture that we will learn about, and celebrate with traditional foods, dances, songs, and holidays. With these occasions we can invite kids and adults from the neighboring villages to share the multiculturality of this world. Also we can have events that we organize around our way of life, traditions and values.

This is more than government schooling, homeschooling and continuous education. This is a framework that involves incredible socializing with individuals of many ages and backgrounds, cooperation and trust, learning and sharing with all, growing in your way and rhythm, speaking many languages, finding your place in this small community and the great univers.
